I found a 1915  reference to a mysterious painting titled October Gold. http://www.jstor.org/stable/25588559?seq=2 contains a note (4th column, 3rd paragraph down) about a painting Emma exhibited at the 19th annual Spring Academy showing at the Fine Arts Galleries (west 57th st). The painting hung in the Centre Gallery. The article note reads “Emma Eilers’ clear-aired “October Gold”.
