This painting was auctioned on September 14, 2019. It is titled Sands Point, though no date is provided. It is consistent with Long Island scenery and could have been painted at or near the former Eilers’ estate at Sea Cliff. No ownership information is currently available.

Study: The Reflecting Pond

Provenance: Eilers Family -> ? -> Junior League Thrift Shop in Roslyn -> Private Collection It appeared this might show Scudders Pond, but these buildings have chimneys, while the old houses at Scudders Pond didn’t. It is another example of Emma using the back of a wooden cigar lid for experimenting with color and scenes.
